Submitting a question to a Governing Body meeting
The Chair welcomes questions and comments on the work of the CCG and members of the public have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the business being conducted.
There are times where we cannot address questions in public, these include:
- issues which may breach patient/personal confidentiality
- concerns about the treatment of an individual patient (these should be addressed in writing to the Chief Officer)
- matters relating to complaints, independent inquiries, or staffing issues that may be confidential and prejudicial to the public interest.
The Chair reserves the right not to respond to comments or questions which are the subject of current confidential discussions or legal action or any other matter at their discretion without giving any reason.
Priority is given to written questions received three working days in advance of the meeting. Other questions will be taken at the discretion of the Chair. If a question cannot be answered at the meeting, or a fuller response is required, a written reply will be sent as soon as possible.
