World Mental Health Day - 10 October 2018
In celebration of World Mental Health Day Croydon Council and NHS Croydon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) invite you to join them at a series of film and theatre events.
On Wednesday 10 October 2018 there will be two special screenings of films exploring issues around mental health at the David Lean Theatre, Croydon Library, Katherine Street.
The films are:
- So you think I’m crazy - feature length
- WIT H IN by Crowns and Owls - short film
- Perinatal Positivity - short film
There will be a question and answer session with representatives from Croydon Council and NHS Croydon CCG and one of the writers Ekanem Hines (So you think I’m crazy) in the David Lean bar after the film show.

On Saturday 13 October 2018 there will be two live performances of So you think I’m crazy, performed by the Know Your Mind Theatre Company at Matthews Yard.
There will be an opportunity to speak to the cast in character and a question and answer session after each performance.

We hold quarterly Patient and Public forums where Croydon residents can find out about developments in the CCG and tell us their views.

The Governing Body is similar to a board and meets regularly in public. There is an opportunity for members of the public to ask the Governing Body members questions during the open space for public questions. Patient and Public Participation Groups
You can have your say by joining the Patient Participation Group (PPG) at your local GP practice. PPGs allow interested patients to be actively involved in the running of their GP practice.
They hold regular meetings to discuss local issues; if you are interested in being involved in your local PPG, please contact your local GP practice directly.
The Croydon Patient Participation Group Network promotes and supports the work of Croydon PPGs.
