Comments, compliments and complaints
We do all we can to provide good quality health services, but sometimes things don’t go as they should.
We welcome people telling us about how we can improve, or make a complaint about the service they have received from the NHS in Croydon.
We are also very pleased to receive positive feedback and compliments about our work or the quality of health services you have received as a local resident. Please complete our feedback form.
Complaints about dentists, pharmacists or opticians
From 1 April 2013, if you have a complaint about a dentist, pharmacist or optician that cannot be resolved locally with the practice manager or pharmacist, you should contact NHS England.

Complaints about a hospital
You should make your complaint directly to the relevant hospital by contacting the complaints department at the hospital you wish to complain to.
Complaints about GPs
If you want to raise a complaint about a GP you should use the practice's internal complaints process in the first instance. You should be able to find out about these on the practice's website or by asking a member of staff.
Complaints about other services
If you have a complaint concerning other health services in Croydon (not hospitals, dentists, pharmacists or opticians), then please contact the NEL CSU complaints team (details below).
The NEL Commissioning Support Unit complaints team is responsible for managing the complaints process on behalf of NHS Croydon CCG.
The team can also give you general advice about the complaints procedure.
